Habitat Hides

GFB have been building wildlife observation buildings since day one and have delivered some one-off unique and exciting projects including a bespoke photography pod, a hide in a National Park hillside with a sloping turf roof grazed by sheep, and platforms offering unobstructed views across natural landscapes. We do manufacture more standard observation hides, but our speciality is creating hides made from green and sustainable materials that sit comfortably and sympathetically in their environment. GFB works closely with site managers and wardens to design and produce the perfect hide for both the area and the habitat it overlooks, and also create ideal viewing for all the people watching from it. If necessary GFB can offer a full design and planning service which includes all permissions and building control submissions. As part of the continuing development and evolution here at GFB, we always try to manufacture our hides with minimum environmental impact and minimum aftercare requirements. With our latest hides we are pioneering revolutionary new fibreboard materials from a sustainable source with up to 50 year external use guarantees.
